Bridal Fair brings wedding dreams to life in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – News 12 and The Chattanoogan teamed up to host the Tennessee Valley Bridal Fair, bringing future brides and wedding enthusiasts together for a day full of inspiration.

From stunning wedding gowns to custom floral arrangements, the event offered everything needed to plan the perfect day.

Future brides filled the aisles at the Bridal Fair in Chattanooga, exploring everything from wedding dresses to catering options.

The event brought together local vendors and excited brides-to-be, all eager to make their wedding dreams a reality.

One of those future brides was Katie Taylor, who has a unique vision for her big day.
“We’re doing all black and white. So I’m actually asking everyone to wear black to our wedding, which is a little different, but I think it will look great in our pictures,” Taylor shared.

The event isn’t just about planning; it’s about enjoying the process.

Alexa Boss, another bride-to-be, shared her advice for handling wedding stress.

“It is stressful, but it is supposed to be such an enjoyable, memorable time of your lives, so you really just gotta not sweat the big things, do the best you can, and in the end, it’s just gonna be amazing anyways, so have fun,” Boss said.

Amidst the excitement, models showcased stunning bridal gowns that left many attendees in awe.

Ashley Ellison, one of the models, described how special it felt to wear the dresses.

“It is very empowering as a woman to be able to get dressed up, or maybe get dressed down. Again, it’s just very special to be able to get to do this as a woman,” Ellison explained.

The event also featured local designers, including Anna Ward, the owner and founder of Anna Christine in Canton, Georgia. For Ward, bridal fashion isn’t just a business—it’s a passion.

“It’s the best thing in the entire world. I eat, breathe, and sleep bridal,” Ward said. “We love to work with everyone. It does not matter who you are, who you’re marrying, what you look like, we want you to feel absolutely gorgeous on your wedding day, like you deserve.”

With so many vendors and so much inspiration, the Bridal Fair made it clear that there’s no one way to do a wedding—only what makes each couple feel special.

For these future brides, the countdown to “I do” just got a little bit more exciting.
