Bridgestone Americas announces closure of LaVergne, TN Plant

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Bridgestone Americans (Bridgestone) has announced the closure of it’s LaVergne, Tennessee, plant.

The plant will close its doors July 31, 2025.

This decision comes from the company’s strategic initiatives to optimize its business footprint, strengthen competitiveness, and enhance the quality of U.S. operations.

This closure is set to impact 700 hourly and staff employees.
