Brown Middle School student arrested for threat of mass violence

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  An arrest was made after a student at Brown Middle School student made a threat of mass violence.

At 9:30 a.m., the school’s resource deputy (SRD) was made aware of the possible threat.

After questioning students and teachers who heard this threat, the SRD was able to identify and arrest the student.

The student is currently being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention center and charged with Threat of Mass Violence.
