Brush fire spreads to storage building in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) responded to multiple calls about a brush fire at the 5700 block of Brainerd Rd.
The reports came in at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Upon arriving, the CFD found a bush fire that had spread to a storage shed.
The fire was extinguished quickly and no injuries were reported.
The Chattanooga Police Department, EPB, and Hamilton County EMS assisted while CFD crews got the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
