Washington’s Bryce Harper swatted his 100th career home run — a grand slam in the third inning — and the Washington Nationals finished a four-game sweep of winless Atlanta, 6-2. Stephen Strasburg and Felipe Rivero combined on a five-hitter. The 7-1 Nats have won five in a row.
The 0-9 Braves have some company in misery. The Minnesota Twins also dropped to 0-9 after falling to Mat Latos and the Chicago White Sox 3-1.
