Burlington moving locations in Hixson

HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) — Burlington is moving out of Northgate Mall into a new spot in Hixson.

Their new location will be at Towne Center North, at 5591 Highway 153 in Hixson.

The company did not give an exact date, but they say the move will happen sometime fall 2023.

When asked about the loss of Burlington in the Northgate Mall, the mall gave this statement:

Northgate Mall is a well-located asset in a growing submarket, and we’re excited about the prospects for its future evolution. In late 2022, we gained control of the Sears and JCPenney buildings as the first step in a multi-phased redevelopment plan. We are currently evaluating several possible scenarios, but it’s too early in the process to make any announcements. We’ll be able to share more details as plans are finalized.
