Butch Jones Says Vols Seniors Won the Biggest Championship ‘The Championship of Life’

The Vols missed out on winning the SEC East title over the weekend.
That had to be especially disappointing for the seniors who kind of circled this season as their year to finally win the division title.
But head coach Butch Jones says his seniors still won a championship.
Said Jones:”When we talk about winning championships, they’re a champion. They’ve won the biggest championship, and that’s the championship of life. This football program wouldn’t be 14-3 (last 17 games) without our seniors. I’m indebted to them. A Vol for life. I’ll be apart of their lives for many years to come. But I want to make it clear, that winning a championship is the number one goal in our program year in and year out.”
