Can you help find Dalton couple accused of stealing car and going on stolen debit card shopping spree?
Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Dalton Police hope you help identify two people accused of stealing a 2007 Toyota Camry, with the owner’s wallet inside.
Police say the man and woman were recorded on a store surveillance camera using a debit card from the stolen wallet.
Officers say the car was left unlocked with the keys and the victim’s wallet inside.
Dalton police say the victim said the car was parked in a lot on Showalter Avenue last Thursday.
The victim’s bank account shows purchases totaling more than $1,000 were made at an Auto Zone store, an O’Reilly Auto Parts, and at Tractor Supply Company.
The stolen car is a silver 2007 Toyota Camry that has a noticeable dent in the front passenger door.
The male suspect is reported to be skinny, wearing a polo shirt with a red hat.
The woman is blonde with a pony tail wore a red UGA hoodie and a blue ball cap.
