Police: Auto Theft Suspect chased before crash

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police this morning investigated a “shots fired” incident on Holiday Hills Road in the Bonny Oakes area Monday morning.

A C-P-D spokesman says apparently no one was hurt, and no one has turned up at a local hospital.

Officers say a vehicle was stolen and police say the owner of that car chased the suspect. Police were not involved in the pursuit.

The vehicle later crashed into the side of a nearby house.

Police are looking for the suspect.

The incident is still under investigation.
