Car fire leaves vehicle in ruins in Van Buren County

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A car fire in Van Buren County left a vehicle in ruins after the it struck a deer on Highway 111 on Tuesday, November 18.

Both occupants in the vehicle escaped with no injuries.

The Sequatchie County Rescue Squad transported the occupants to a motel in Dunlap.

The Dunlap Fire Department, Van Buren Sheriff’s deputies, Van Buren County EMS, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Piney VFD assisted in the accident.
