Catoosa County manager resigns

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Catoosa County manager Jim Walker did not survive Tuesday night’s County Commission meeting.

After a closed door session with commissioners, the County Attorney announced that Walker tendered his resignation effective immediately.

The Catoosa News reports that he was escorted from the meeting.

Chief Financial Officer Carl Henson will serve as interim county manager.

Walker held the job for about two and a half years.
