Catoosa County sheriff says infant death not suspicious

RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF) — The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office recently responded to an infant death in Ringgold.

Sheriff’s deputies, EMS and firefighters responded to a home on Baggett Road on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

There, responders found a six-week-old infant who was not breathing.

First responders attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful, according to Sheriff Sisk.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating.

However, they say the investigation does not appear to be suspicious so far.
