Catoosa County teams with Riverbend team to bring a country music show this fall

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – The Catoosa County Commission has struck a deal to bring a little bit of Riverbend to Ringgold.

They approved a contract with Friends of the Festival to book a show at the Northwest Georgia Amphitheatre on September 2nd.

And the Friends have brought in iHeartMedia to help them land a country music headliner for the show.

They plan to announce the act in the coming months.

FoF Executive Director Chip Baker toured the Amphitheatre and saw possibilities.

“If it’s country music, and a reason to celebrate, it fits us. We’ve been partnering with iHeart for years, now we’re looking forward to celebrating with the Catoosa County community.”
