CCS Uses Big Fourth Quarter to Avoid the Upset Against Grundy County

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Chattanooga Christian managed to stay unbeaten in district play as they fought off Grundy County 61-50 on Monday night at CCS.
The visiting Yellow Jackets enjoyed a 26-21 lead at halftime, and they extended the lead to 11 points in the third quarter on a three-pointer from
Trent Hampton.
The Yellow Jackets led it 46-39 going into the fourth quarter, but CCS outscored Grundy County 22-4 in the final period to pull off the win.
Amos Davenport and John Rhodes were big down the stretch for the Chargers who improve to 18-2 on the year and 6-0 in district action.
