CECS Hosts Annual E-Week Open House

The College of Engineering and Computer Science  invited the community to a fun-filled experience at the annual E-Week open house. Every year, the college opens its doors to the public, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the world of engineering and computer science. This year’s event allowed K-12 students, along with their parents and guardians, to get an up-close look at the innovative world of computer science.

“The lab had several robots for students to interact with, including robotic dogs from Boston Dynamics. Volkswagen also brought a variety of exhibits, including their electric VW bus, allowing students to go inside and see how it operates,” said Alex Crocker with UTC engineering.

The open house sparked new interest in the field, providing valuable insights into potential career paths in the future of technology.
