CFC Ready For Preseason to Turn Into Regular Season

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The CFC crank up their 15th season of soccer in chattanooga this weekend.

The Boys in Blue will host Gold Star FC Detroit at 3pm Saturday at Fort Finley. It has been a long preseason for CFC since they reported early for their exhibition match in January against Atlanta United. So now the guys are itching to play for real.

Said goal scorer Markus Naglestad:”Just ready to get going. It’s been 2 1/2 months, 10 weeks or so I’ve just hard work preseason and bunch of scrimmages are hungry to get going and playing some games that count.”
Said head coach Rod Underwood:”I try not to think about I’m just focused on building building in building and now sitting here it’s like all the games coming.”
