CFD keeps car fire from spreading to home
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A car caught fire Wednesday night in a neighborhood on Lake Hills Circle in Chattanooga.
The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a call about a house fire at 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a fully involved vehicle fire. It did cause structural endangerment to the house as well.
Firefighters made an aggressive attack, and kept the fire from spreading to other cars or to the house.
The CFD said that all residents exited the home prior to their arrival. They waited in a neighbors yard until it was safe for them to return.
Firefighters quickly got the fire under control, according to the fire department.
