Chambliss Center for Children Hosts Seminar
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF-TV) – The Chambliss Center for Children is hosting 30 child-care experts from all over the country today and tomorrow.
They’re here to learn from one of the south’s most successful models of early childhood education.
The Chambliss center uses a combination of United Way funding along with Headstart and help from the City of Chattanooga, to provide childcare for 700 children at six locations.
Parents pay only what they afford.

"All of our programs require that the parents are either working or in school.So we’re looking at parents who are working or going to school trying to do the right thing for their family and trying to better their financial situation and they just need quality child
The visitors are here as part of "Opportunities Exchange", a consulting company that helps organizations improve their financial stability.
