Chattanooga: Cheapest Gas in the U.S?

That’s according to research firm gasbuddy.com.

Right now it’s around $2.60.

But why is it so cheap?

Well, this firm says gas tax is cheaper here.

Gasbuddy.com also says we’re close to oil refineries, and transporting gasoline to Tennessee is cheap compared to getting it to more northern states like Iowa or Wisconsin.
