CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga City Council has been selected as the recipient of the first commemorative replica Liberty Bell in the area.

The bell has been installed in front of the Chattanooga City Council Building, where it is now on display for residents and visitors.

They say this replica bell serves as a visible symbol of American independence.

They also say it provides the community with an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s founding and its enduring ideals.

The bell was produced as part of an initiative organized by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County ‘America 250’ committee in partnership with Siskin Steel, which manufactured and donated the replica.
