Chattanooga Convention Center Hosts National Gathering for Farriers
For the next four days, the Chattanooga Convention Center is the place to be for farriers, horse owners, and industry professionals from across the nation
This convention is It’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and share knowledge about all things horseshoe related.
“These folks are very committed to ongoing education; almost all of them are certified through the AFA, and they gather regularly to continue advancing their craft. Their commitment is truly remarkable,” said Martha Jones, Executive Director of the American Farriers Association.
This year’s event offered the highly anticipated national foraging and horseshoeing completion where the best in the business got to showcase their skills in front of a live audience,
“We are called farriers, and no matter what your skill level is, there are many horseshoers here, some of whom have just started, while others have been doing this for 25 years, like us. The competition, however, is for those who want to take that next step and improve,” said Russell Deering, a professional farrier.
The American Farrier’s Association’s Annual Convention runs through Friday and promises to be a memorable week for all involved.
