Mehdi Ouamri wasted no time getting on the scoresheet, netting his second goal of the season in just the third minute. Jesus Ibarra found Ouamri with a perfectly-weighted through ball, and the striker slotted it past Orlando City B goalkeeper Javier Otero.

Orlando City B refused to go down without a fight. Shakur Mohammed equalized for the visitors just before halftime, getting the ball over the line after a chaotic scramble in the CFC penalty area.
