Chattanooga Electric Bike Co. to hold grand opening
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Electric Bike Company is having its grand opening next week on May 3.
It’s the only locally founded electric bike company in Chattanooga.
Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly will be attending the grand opening. He will give opening remarks at 12:30 p.m.
The company will give away prizes to guests and allow test rides. This will start at 1 p.m.
They feature more than 60 different bikes in store. These include commuting, mountain and leisure bikes. They also have “micro-transit options for individuals.”
The grand opening will last from 12 to 3 p.m. at 1404 McCallie Avenue.
John Mathna and Diana Davies are the founders, and they are inviting the community to attend this free event.
“I am thrilled to be opening Chattanooga Electric Bike Co, and I believe that our electric bikes will help our community move towards a more sustainable future,” said Mathna. “We are committed to providing top-quality electric bikes at an affordable price and helping individuals find alternative, eco-friendly modes of transportation.”
