Chattanooga Fire Department puts a price on Williams Street blaze

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga firefighters release the cost of the big fire on Thanksgiving evening downtown.

The three alarm fire at 1511 Williams Street near Main destroyed the building.

Now the fire department estimates the damage at $360,000 to the building and $400,000 for the contents.

It held an art gallery, a cabinet shop, and a drop off location for the Widow’s Harvest Ministry.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
