Chattanooga Fire Department responds to dryer fire on South Moore Road
UPDATE (1/3/2025): South Moore Road is reopen for traffic.
BRAINERD, Tenn. (WDEF) — Residents at a South Moore Road home made it out unharmed after a dryer fire Friday.
The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the 100 block of South Moore Road at 2:31 p.m.
According to CFD, crews were dispatched to the scene after reports of smoke in the home coming from a dryer.
Upon arrival, firefighters aggressively attacked the fire to get it under control.
No injuries resulted from this incident.
South Moore Road is temporarily shut down from Brainerd Road to the 200 block of South Moore.
