Chattanooga Fire Department responds to overturned semi truck
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to an overturned semi-truck off of Compress Street.
Firetrucks was dispatched to the 200 block of Compress Street at the intersection of Riverside Avenue at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
CFD posted on Facebook that a truck carrying more than 40,000 pounds of rolled paper overturned.
This caused the driver’s legs to get stuck under the dash.
CFD was able to get the driver out of the semi-truck, and he was transported to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
