Chattanooga Fire Dept. honors late Bobby E. Henley, Sr.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department honored Bobby E. Henley, Sr. on Tuesday. Firefighters displayed their American Flag up high in his honor.

Henley, a retired Chattanooga Firefighter, recently passed away. He was buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery Tuesday morning.

For 26 years, he served as a firefighter. He served for the City of Chattanooga as well.

Henley was also an honored veteran.

The fire department said Henley overcame cancer three times.

According to Wilson Funeral Homes, Henley was an 84-year-old Chickamauga native.
