Chattanooga Firefighters Rescue Mom and Daughter
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – A smoke alarm and Chattanooga firefighters save an unconscious woman last night.
A neighbor heard the alarm and called firefighters to an apartment at 2188 Camden Oaks Drive.
The kitchen fire left smoke in the home.
Firefighters found the 28 year old woman semi-responsive on her bed.
In the room next door, her four year old daughter was unresponsive, with her pet dog barking at her.
They carried both victims out and gave them oxygen.
Both revived outside, but went to the hospital for observation.
Investigators believe the fire was started by food left on the stove.
