Chattanooga firefighters respond to Hixson house fire

HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) responded to a house fire in Hixson this afternoon.

Firefighters were dispatched to a duplex on Moody Sawyer Road.

All occupants inside the resident made it outside before CFD arrived.

Two individuals were looked at on the scene by EMS.

CFD posted on X that the cause of the fire will be under investigation once crews have put out the fire.
