Chattanooga firefighters tackle attic fire Friday evening
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Fire Department put out an attic fire Friday evening.
It happened around 6:00pm at a home on Oak View Drive.
When fire crews arrived, the homeowner told officials everyone made it out of the house safely.
The homeowner told firefighters they smelled something burning and saw flames in the attic.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and determined the cause was an electrical problem.
Crews had to cut power to the residence.
No one was injured.
