Chattanooga Kicks off World AIDs Day

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Today is World AIDs Day, and like every year the city of Chattanooga is kicking off the celebration with plenty of free and educational events.

This morning, the line up began with the Worlds AIDs Day tree ornament crafting, which was later followed up by a memorial ceremony and candlelight procession to Chattanooga City Hall.

For nearly 30 years now, World AIDs Day has celebrated those who are still living with the virus, and honored those who have lost their lives.
