2nd Chattanooga March for Life
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The 2nd annual Chattanooga March for Life is taking place this Saturday. The event is hosted by the Greater Chattanooga Right to Life and Students for Life of Southeast Tennessee.
The event will be at 1 p.m. at the Walker Pavilion in Coolidge Park.
Hosts say it will be a peaceful event meant to educate the public on the sanctity of human life.
Doors will open at 12 p.m., a short program will be at 1 p.m. and the March for Life will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Group leaders say, “We are committed to defending and advocating for the right to life of all innocent human beings, born and unborn, believing that every human being, from conception to natural death, has immeasurable dignity and an unalienable right to life.”
They also say the event is in part to celebrate the overturn of Roe v. Wade and the Tennessee Human Life Protection Act.
