Chattanooga Police asking for assistance in locating fake nurse

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Chattanooga Police (CPD) are investigating a woman who faked being a nurse at a local nursing home.

CPD responded to the 1000 block of North Runyan Drive, December 30, 2024 at 12:48 p.m. for reports of impersonation.

Upon arrival, officers were informed by the Director of Nursing that a recent new hire was impersonating a nurse.

After further review of the new hires’ paperwork, it was determined she was using someone else’s nursing license.

CPD’s preliminary investigation reveals that 37-year-old Alicia Brooks was impersonating another individual to gain employment.

Brooks was not present while officers were at the facility.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Brooks, but have been unable to locate her.

CPD is reaching out to the community in asks of assistance to locate her.
