Chattanooga Police investigate E 4th St shooting
UPDATE: CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On December 29, 2017 and 11:39 a.m. officers from the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 1800 block of E 4th St on a report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that the victim had been transported to a local hospital via a privately owned vehicle.
Investigators spoke to the victim, 42-year-old Broderick Autry, at the hospital about the incident.
Autry advised that he was outside a residence when he was shot by a passing vehicle.
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this shooting.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are investigating another shooting, although few details are available right now.
The police were called to a reported shooting at 11:30 this morning in the 18-hundred block of East 4th street.
When they got to the scene, one source says they found blood on a doorframe of the house, but no victim.
Later, one person turned up at a local hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound.
Officers spoke with that victim, but have not confirmed that it’s connected to the earlier incident.
