Chattanooga Police investigate homicide on Fagan Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on October 5 on Fagan Street.

Police responded to a person shot call in the 4100 block of Fagan Street at 12:32 A.M.

When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old man with life threatening injuries. Officers started life saving measures until medical personnel arrived.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died.

Chattanooga Police Department’s Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation.

The preliminary investigation shows the victim was shot outside of a resident. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
