Chattanooga Police investigating Glass Street shooting
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on Glass Street early Sunday morning.
On January 26, 2025 at 2:34 a.m., CPD responded to a local hospital for a delayed person shot call.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 24-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to CPD, the male stated that the shooting occurred in the 2300 block of Glass Street.
The preliminary investigation revealed a person running in the roadway shooting at a group of people.
A security guard from a nearby establishment saw this occurring, and began shooting at the suspect.
