Chattanooga police investigating Tacoa Circle shooting
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred a few days ago on Tacoa Circle.
On April 30, 2025 around 7:00 p.m., Chattanooga police responded to the 5200 block of Tacoa Circle on reports of shots fired.
After officers arrived on scene, they were notified of someone arriving at a local hospital with a gunshot injury.
According to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD), when officers arrived at the hospital, they found a 50 year-old woman who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
CPD’s preliminary investigations reveals the woman was walking in the 5200 block of Tacoa Circle when she heard gunshots.
She then realized she had been shot, and went to the hospital for treatment.
