Chattanooga Police look into early morning shooting on Pinewood Avenue

Two shootings occurred in Chattanooga within a span of about 7 hours.

The latest happened overnight at an apartment on Pinewood Avenue, near the Brainerd Tunnels.

Investigators spent several hours early this morning processing a crime scene.

The victim, 18-year old Jaylain Ballard, went to the hospital for treatment of two non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Ballard refused to cooperate… so they have no suspect information.

The other shooting occurred at 7pm Monday night.
