Chattanooga Police make arrest for aggravated domestic assault

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police arrest 29-year-old Kevin Lamar Wilson for aggravated domestic assault.
    Police responded to the 3200 block of Calhoun Avenue Thursday night on a report of unknown trouble.
    Christina McClendon told police the father of her children assaulted her.
    McClendon told investigators Wilson hit, kicked and strangled her after a verbal argument.
    She said she was afraid for her life, so she shot Wilson in the left arm.
    Police say Wilson drove himself to the hospital for treatment of the non life-threatening wound.
    That’s where officers caught him.
    He was booked into the Hamilton County Jail.
