Chattanooga police make arrest in February homicide case
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga police say they have arrested a man for a recent homicide case.
The homicide happened on the 700 block of E. 48th Street, according to police.
CPD has arrested 36-year-old Marquel Lane.
He faces charges of first-degree murder, reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held at the Hamilton County Jail.
Police say they responded to the scene at 8 p.m. when a person had been shot.
First responders took that person to a hospital, where they pronounced him dead.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim.
