Chattanooga Police make arrest in Hickory Valley Road Homicide
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police (CPD) have made an arrest in connection to the Hickory Valley Road homicide.
Victor Bentley Davis was located and arrested October 9, 2024 by CPD’s Fugitive Unit.
Davis was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
CPD originally responded to a person shot call June 3, 2024 at 10:16 p.m. in the 3200 block of Hickory Valley Road.
Upon arrival, officers found a 28-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
The man ended up dying on scene.
CPD’s Homicide Unit was dispatched to the scene to conduct an investigation.
Evidence was collected linking Davis to the homicide.
A separate investigation led to a search of a vehicle driven by Davis.
A firearm was recovered that ended up being linked to the Hickory Valley Road homicide.
Evidence from Davis’s phone also linked him to that incident.
The Homicide Detective obtained arrest warrants and charged Davis with First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, and Reckless Endangerment.
