Chattanooga Police make arrest in Hixson shooting
HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) made an arrest in connection to a shooting that occurred in Hixson Friday.
At 7:33 a.m., November 22, 2024, CPD responded to a person shot call in the 5900 block of Winding Lane.
Upon arrival, officers located a 38-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported him to a local hospital.
CPD said their preliminary investigation reveals the victim was walking to work when the suspect, Robert Komar, pulled up in a silver Jeep Cherokee and shot him.
The suspect recognized the victim from an altercation the previous day.
Komar was arrested later that day.
He was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
