Chattanooga Police officer hospitalized after sustaining injuries from a wreck

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police were involved in a wreck with injuries on Saturday.

A Chattanooga Police Officer was responding to a crash on Interstate-75 when they were involved in a crash around 5 p.m..

The officer was navigating the intersection of Brainerd and Moore Roads when they were struck by a vehicle pulling a trailer.

The officer and passenger were both transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
