Chattanooga Police on scene where they are told a stabbing suspect is hiding

CHATTANOOGA Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are currently on the scene where a stabbing suspect is supposedly barricaded.

Police responded earlier today to a residence on N. Howell Avenue regarding a call of “unknown trouble.”

Once police arrived, they were advised of a domestic stabbing, and the suspect was no where to be found.

Later, police were alerted to the 800 block of Eddings Street, where they were told the suspect was hiding.

Police are currently at Eddings Street attempting to locate the suspect, who is believed to be barricaded inside the home.

The suspect is a 38-year-old black male.
