Chattanooga Police respond to a shooting off E. 3rd Street early Sunday morning

27-year-old man suffers non-fatal gunshot wound after drive-thru altercation

CHATTANOOGA Tenn. (WDEF)- Early Sunday morning, Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting off of E. 3rd Street.

At 3:28 a.m., officials responded to a local hospital and spoke with a man who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police were told the 27-year-old man had gotten into an altercation at a local drive-thru when he was shot.

Authorities are working to locate the others involved in this incident.

Charges have not yet been filed.
