Chattanooga Police say drunk driver almost hit them while conducting another DUI investigation

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police say drunk driver almost hit them while conducting another DUI investigation.

Niki Liner had been involved in a crash with a semi.

Police determined that she was intoxicated.

She told police she had 4 drinks before leaving her job at Southside social.

Police say they witnessed Samuel Lemon speeding down the road and then slamming on his brakes.

They say he barely missed the patrol car.

They were both arrested and charged with DUI along with several other charges.
