Chattanooga Police Search for Suspect in Early Morning Fatal Stabbing

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) Chattanooga police investigate an early morning homicide.

Around 1:18AM, officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a fight at Rumors Bar located in the 3800 block Hixson Pike.

Once there, police found 36-year old Shawn Russell suffering from a stab wound.

Emergency crews took Russell to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a black SUV.
