Chattanooga teams dominate state wrestling duals
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga was represented in all four finals matches at the TSSAA state wrestling duals Saturday.
In Division I-AA, the classic Bradley Central-Cleveland match-up entertained fans right until the end. Tied at 28, the title fight came down to the 195 class. Tetoe Boyd won with a pin to earn Cleveland’s fifth straight duals state title — a new record in TSSAA history.
Signal Mountain won its first wrestling state title with a dominating win over Greeneville. Eagles went up early 39-6, which proved too much for Greeneville’s number one ranked team to come back from.

In Division II, Baylor defeated Father Ryan 36-21 to win another state title. Meanwhile, Chattanooga Christian fought hard against Lakeway Christian Academy, but ultimately came up short of a full Chattanooga duals sweep.
Three outta four state dual titles ain't too bad, Chattanooga. Ain't too bad at all. https://t.co/9kDDQrYkcM
