Chattanooga Zoo offers spooky and not-so-spooky events for all ages

Jake Cash, Sam Brumm, and Rosie the owl join News 12’s Amelia Greer to preview all the spooky events coming this month.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Zoo returns (but not from the dead) to give a sneak peek at the spooky and not-so-spooky events haunting Warner Park this season.

Boo in the Zoo returns once again to provide a family friendly event where children can dress up as their favorite superhero, character, or even an object and get to trick-or-treat around the zoo.

The event will include costume shows, meet and greets with your favorite characters like Ariel or Jack Sparrow, and the Empire lands at the zoo on certain days with Storm Troopers guarding the animals.

It’s the perfect event for children who might want all the treats but none of the tricks.

The event begins on October 11 and runs through each weekend in October. For more information and tickets, visit the links down below.

A new event is creeping its way to the Chattanooga Zoo. Frights and Pints is a 21 and up event that gives adults a chance to dress up in their Halloween costume, have a few drinks, and party like animals with a DJ.

VIP experiences include animal meet and greets, specialty cocktails, an open bar, and plenty more.

The event takes place on October 24 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. For more information and tickets, visit the links down below.
