Child Development Center Unveils New Renovations to Enhance Learning and Play

It’s been some exciting times at Chattanooga State Community College this week.

The school celebrated the unveiling of its newly renovated Child Development Center this morning.
Sabra Marshall, Director of the Child Development Center, said, “We’re so excited because we get to bring technology in. We also get to incorporate gross motor activities and combine all of that together. We were able to get brand new playgrounds, new shelving, and a rearrangement of rooms, making the space more visually accessible for the teachers. This has allowed us to help the kids explore more, especially on the side of the building.”
This project was made possible thanks in part to a 1-point-7 million dollar grant.
School officials say this facility is aimed at improving childcare accessibility for students who are balancing their education and family life.
